IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE LIGHT

We are drawn to the light. When all the beauty of the world fades away, and we can no longer see with our own eyes, the only thing we will be attracted to is the light. We might not have known what it was we were looking for, or whom we should follow. But when we come to know Jesus, we know that in Him is the light. His words speak truth, His actions provide grace, His purpose is holy and selfless. We did not know that we were looking for Him the whole time.
HE IS PLEASED WITH YOU

The Lord God is truly pleased with you. This is something which we must be reminded of on a daily basis. Our heavenly father shared His love and affection for His son Jesus even before any work of ministry was performed. All Jesus did up to the point of his baptism was to enjoy life. It was at His baptism, where Jesus identified with His Father and the Holy Spirit confirmed it, that his Father said out of heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”
COUNSEL FROM THE LORD

Where is it that we get our inspiration and desires? There are so many different outlets of information that we have access to. There is the news, social media, literature, movies. There are book groups, social clubs, associations, networking activities. We are on the receiving end of so much information that it is so easy to miss the voice of God. It's no wonder that people are not listening to His commands and misinterpret what He is saying. But He is speaking to us.
BEGIN BUILDING WITH GOD

If you are listening for the Lord, then you will hear his instruction. In some cases, His instruction may conflict with what you are building for yourself. Would it be wrong of the Lord to confuse your thoughts or to thwart your plans if it was not His purpose for your life?
